Wenyi

Wenyi is an artist in Dali, Yunnan Province, China, and he has taken it upon himself to encourage people to see art in their every day life. He does this by taking pieces of discarded cardboard, painting the surroundings that they were found in on them, and then returning them to their original location.

I am inspired by this because this artist is taking these normal and often overlooked elements of every day life and transforming them into something beautiful that will cause people to look twice and "stop and smell the roses" in a completely different way.
