In Rijeka, Croatia, Pejac, a Barcelona-based artist, has created a tribute to René Magritte.

The piece, entitled "Camouflage", uses negative space in broken window panes to create the illusion of birds in flight.

Pejac says the the work is also a testament to nature's survival instinct, as flocks of birds will sometimes disguise themselves are broken windows to escape from the human eye.
